Step 1: Log in to Your Hosting Account
After buying hosting, you will receive login details via email. Use those to access your hosting control panel.
Step 2: Connect Your Domain to Hosting.
If your domain and hosting were purchased from different companies, you may need to connect them.
This is done by updating the nameservers of your domain in domain purchasing site's control panel with the values provided by your hosting provider.
After updating, it may take a few hours for the connection to work globally. So keep patience for few hours.
If both the domain and hosting are from the same company, they may already be connected and you can skip this step.
Step 3: Open the Hosting Control Panel
Inside your hosting account, you'll find a control panel. This could be cPanel or a custom dashboard.
Look for options like:
- Website Installer
- WordPress Installer
- File Manager
- Databases
These tools will help you set up your website.
Step 4: Install a Website Platform like WordPress Or Upload yours.
Most hosting providers offer a simple way to install a website builder or content management system like WordPress.
To install:
- Open the website or script installer
- Choose your domain
- Fill in basic info (site title, admin username, password, etc.)
- Click install
After a few minutes, your website platform will be installed and ready.
Or You can develop your own website and upload it via FTP or File Manager.
Step 5: Add Content
You can now create your website content:
- Pages for information
- Posts for blogs or updates
- Menus for navigation
- Widgets for extra features
Step 6: Make Your Site Live
After customizing and adding content, your site may already be live to the world. If not, check for any "Coming Soon" or "Maintenance Mode" settings and turn them off.
